Stone Photography has been a trusted DC area event photographer since 1975. We offer photojournalistic style candid event coverage, stylized and/or traditional portraits, a private personalized gallery with your event logo, and flexible product options.
How it works:
1) Take a look at our portrait examples. If you like what you see, give us a call/email with any questions you might have. We will send you our pricing for photographing the event and the different options available for digital files, portraits, proofs and custom albums. If you decide to hire us for your event, see step 2.
2) Contact us as soon as you have a confirmed date for your event and a rough idea of how many people you will be planning to attend. Once we have confirmed the date is available, a $300 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date. You don't have to decide right then which options you want to go with until later, but this ensures your date is confirmed with us.*
3) Once you have confirmed your venue and the general schedule for your event, contact us so we can go over your options (how many hours of photo coverage you want, the number of photographers needed, the options for having your images delivered). Once you have decided which options to go with, we send you a contract to review and sign, and of course we're available to answer any questions you might have.
4) Your photographer will visit the venue a week or 2 ahead of time (if we haven't been there already) to ensure familiarity and to scout out the best spots for portraits.
*Events cancelled due to COVID-19 ONLY are subject to a full refund of security deposit. Events delayed but not cancelled due to COVID-19 have automatic scheduling priority.
